This liturgy comes from the Sunday morning service on October 13, 2016 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky | Director of Music Ministry: Josh Reed
Call to Worship: Psalm 27:1
"The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?"
This morning, you are invited as a Church body to worship God, our light and our salvation. The Lord is the stronghold of our lives. May our desire be to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and become more aware of His presence. May we come with shouts of joy, to sing and to make music to the Lord. Let us worship God in Spirit and in truth. Our prayer this morning is that the Lord would work and that the Holy Spirit would come and teach us His ways and make straight our paths in this hour of gathering and always."

Scripture Reading: Matthew 22:34-39
But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
